Outlook Import Integration
iCalendar supports complete integration with MS Outlook. Send your iCalendar events to Outlook, and import your Outlook events to iCalendar. Once events are sent or imported they become synchronized.

While working within iCalendar Desktop, from the File menu you can navigate to import MS Outlook events, as shown below. iCalendar will then connect to Outlook and retrieve a list of calendar events. Simply select the events you want to import, then click the 'import' button. All compatible event properties are preserved, including complete support for recurring events.

Once the import is complete, iCalendar internally stores a pointer to the original Outlook event so that any subsequent imports of the same event will simply update the existing events, never duplicating them.

Export To Outlook Integration
iCalendar Desktop allows you to view events in a month view, as shown above, and a list view. Both views allow you to export one or more events to outlook. As with import integration, an internal pointer is stored to the exported event, so that any subsequent exports will update the event, never duplicating them.

When the list view is displayed, the icon to the right side lets you know which events have been imported from Outlook, or have been created in iCalendar Desktop.
